The Air Leg Drill is a highly efficient rock drilling machinery extensively used in mining, railway, transportation, water conservancy construction, and other stone works. It is particularly suitable for medium to hard rock wet drilling.
Powered by compressed air, the Air Leg Drill utilizes a piston for high-speed reciprocating movement, effectively breaking and drilling rocks. Its centralized operation mechanism, flexible starting, air-water linkage, ease of use, and maintenance make it a preferred choice.
The working principle involves high-pressure air entering the valve mechanism through the handle, alternating between the front and back chambers of the cylinder to drive the piston for rock breaking. The continuous impact and rotation of the bit create round holes in the rock.
Mounted on an air leg for operation, the Air Leg Drill reduces the operator's labor intensity. It can drill horizontal or inclined holes with a depth of 2-5m and a diameter of 34-42mm.
